Petitioners now challenge the validity of those regulations and seek restoration of their driving privileges.įor the reasons set forth below, we reject petitioners' challenges and affirm. Petitioners' relicensing applications were subsequently denied pursuant to recent amendments adopted by respondent New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), which govern the relicensing of recidivist drunk driving offenders.
